Pondering over my future solo travels

I had a good trip, but I think I’m going to forgo flying and rentals for a while. This whole driving to the airport, flying, picking up my rental, then dropping off my rental, flying and then driving home gets nauseous after a while, and really takes the wind out of my sails when the trip is only a few days long. Besides, after seeing so much of Colorado I’ve come to appreciate the beauty of the Adirondacks and White Mountains in its own right, especially since they’re both an easy drive away.

Glad you made it back safely! Colorado is so beautiful, isn’t it?

Thanks, I’m glad I did a 200 mile tour one day as it helped me zero in on some of the places I’d like to stay at in the future on a semi regular basis. I was surprised that Breckenridge wasn’t as picturesque as I’d imagined, but Frisco and Dillon were awesome. Completely ensconced by mountains, which is just how I likes its.

You went tripping this weekend too, huh?

I got rides to and from the airport – makes things easier after all the other driving and flying.

Yeah I usually taxi myself, still getting herded around like cattle from flight to flight gets old after a while. I think next time I’m just gonna road trip it without any flying involved.
